The Open E-INTAKE intake system for BMW B58 X3/X4 M40i was developed to supply the B58 engine with fresh air faster and more efficiently. The increased intake volume of the E-INTAKE performance filter, the large 4″ intake pipe and the flow-optimised turbo inlet significantly improve air throughput.
The result: a noticeably more direct throttle response, faster boost build-up and a significantly more intense intake sound.
Sound you can hear
The open design brings out the characteristic turbo sound of the B58 much more strongly. Intake noise, turbo whistle and load changes become more audible and give your BMW X3 M40i a sportier, more emotional sound.
