HF-Series intercooler Hyundai I20 N

This upgrade intercooler for the Hyundai I20N is a highlight of the HF-Series range.

The high-quality HFT core has excellent cooling properties to deliver the best performance even in poor conditions, while also being very robust.
It is characterised by high resistance and does not heat up as much itself as comparable cores from other manufacturers.
At the same time, the entire system is designed for the best possible flow.
This means pressure loss is minimal and the entire charge air path has been developed for good flow using CAD flow analysis. This also includes the cooler end tanks, which are made of high-strength cast aluminium.

This makes the product interesting for both standard power and motorsport, as significantly higher power outputs are also possible.
Every single cooler was built on the relevant vehicle, calculated in flow simulations and tested on the company’s own dynamometer.

The intercooler is fitted to the original mounting points of the OEM intercooler and therefore requires no major modifications. Installation can be carried out by customers with a well-stocked toolbox.

What exactly does an upgraded intercooler do for you?
To express the exact extra power of an intercooler in figures, many unknown factors have to be taken into account, such as: factory power variation, other hardware changes and the software used for the measurement.
This differs from vehicle to vehicle. As a rule of thumb, you can expect up to 5% – 10% on engines with increased output.
Just as important: whether your engine has already been tuned or is to remain standard in terms of software, you prevent a loss of power, especially at high outside air temperatures, or even the engine reaching the temperature protection stored in many control units, and can therefore always count on the full power of your engine.
