HG-Motorsport High Performance ignition coils have been developed specifically to overcome these challenges reliably. They offer increased ignition energy, higher thermal stability and consistently reliable performance – even under the harshest conditions.

Technical features of HG-Motorsport ignition coils

Winding structure and how it works

The ignition coils work with an optimised primary and secondary coil structure. The primary winding generates a strong magnetic field which, when it collapses, induces a high voltage in the secondary winding.

Thermal tests and long-term results

Continuous thermal load at 120 °C

• Test set-up: Continuous operation at 120 °C with simulated load changes over 100 hours.
