General description:
The K&N performance air filter consists of two layers of wire mesh with a layer of cotton gauze between them, treated with a special oil. This makes the filter less restrictive to airflow, which increases engine power, while the oiled cotton also filters the air better. Because the filter is made of cotton, it never needs replacing: simply wash it with a special cleaner, let it dry and re-oil it with air filter oil.
